Peter founded the Talianna Studio in 2006 after more than twenty years of designing and directing studios in New York City.
In addition to directing Talianna Consultants, Peter is a guest lecturer and visiting faculty member at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and writes on style and fashion for Harper’s Bazaar India and AD India. His career has led him around the world studying arts and crafts and working with artisans and production managers to create products for interiors and fashion. He studied Textile and Product Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan.
Hemant Sagar, who has lived in Delhi since birth, is the owner and founder of Lecoanet Hemant India, a fashion store.
He began his career in fashion as an apprentice in Germany before heading to Paris where he joined the Ecole De La Chambre Syndicale De Couture Parisienne. Along the way he has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Golden Thimble of Haute Couture award. He holds degrees from the Ernst Moritz Arndt Gymnasium in Berlin and the Chambre Sydicale de la Couture Parisienne.
Chef Manish Mehrotra is the Executive Chef for Pan Asian Cuisine for Old World Hospitality and is heading the kitchens of Indian Accent.
Born in Patna, Manish attended the Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai where he became interested in cooking. Manish is known for his unique amalgamation of the freshest local produce combining home style nostalgic tastes with unusual ingredients from across the world.He is the recipient of many awards and accolades including American Express Best Chef of the year, HT’s Best Chef and Best Indian restaurant by several notable international publications.
Renu Modi is the Owner and founder of Gallery Espace, which she established in 1989 in New Delhi.
The Art Gallery is showcases Indian artists from multiple generations and various backgrounds. Gallery Espace represents artists whose work reflects contemporary society’s concerns- providing a platform for leading art commentators and journalists to translate their ideas into an artist-shared pictorial vision
Since founding his own consultancy firm, Emmanuel Balayer Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd (EBCS), in 2006, Balayer has shepherded some of the world’s foremost luxury brands into the Indian market.
In 2013, Balayer co-founded Bistronomie, a fine dining pop-up that serves as a platform for creating vibrant one-off spaces built around an equal love of food and design. In 2009, Balayer founded Wine Stories India Pvt Ltd to give discerning individual consumers in India easy access to some of the world’s best wines through an online portal. Balayer came to India in 2002 as Regional Director for the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
He set Art Equity up in 2004 in Australia and it has since expanded its operation to include London and Singapore. Art Equity works closely with numerous financial institutions and corporates, including some of the largest Private Banks in Australia and Asia. He also founded Art Equity Rentals which is the largest non-government corporate rental program in Australia. Prior to setting up Art Equity he was with UBS Warburg, Australia as the Head of Asia Pacific – Loan Portfolio Risk Management and Vice President at UBS Singapore and of head Structured Finance for the Indian sub-continent team. He has also worked with Macquarie Bank Ltd and CITI Bank. Raj is on various other boards, including the Bikes for Bush charity.
Puneeta Chadha Khanna has nearly two decades of experience in hospitality and luxury industry. A post graduate in Marketing from the Xavier Institute of Management, she has held various leadership positions at East India Hotels (Oberoi Hotels ) and then again at Aman Resorts. She now advises entrepreneurs in the travel and luxury sectors. Currently as the mother to 11 year old twins she focuses on her passions of travel , food and social equality . She writes on food and has special interest in lost foods and heritage recipes . A keen traveller ,she believes in discovering the off-beat places in India . In addition she contributes to social causes and runs initiatives to benefit needy children.
