The Creative Services Support was launched in April 2011 at the Aman Hotel in New Delhi with exciting guests like KumariSelja, Minister of Cultureand renowned actor, Sharmila Tagore as the Chief Guest. Sir Richard Stagg, The British High Commissioner to India inaugurated the launch with the Founder of CSSG, Anand Kapoor and co-hosts Sir Mark Tully and Amin Jaffer.
The event exhibited lighting installations by renowned light sculptor Patrick Rimoux and an art installation by Thukral&Tagrawhich was curated by Peter Nagy as well as a contemporary water dance performance by dancing star Chris Leckner with outfits designed by Shivan and Naresh encrusted in Swarovski Crystals. The music for the evening was composed by Arun Reyes.
The launch highlighted the importance of the creative sectors for emerging economies in contributing to India’s economic growth.
